Agreement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SkillVault (the "Service"), operated by SkillVault ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SkillVault is a software service — an online editor, private workspace and export pipeline for AI agent skill configuration files, offered together with a built-in library of original templates authored by us. Core disclaimer: SkillVault only provides AI skill configuration templates and does not provide AI inference services. Users take full responsibility for usage. We do not host, proxy or provide AI inference of any kind. Skills run entirely on third-party platforms (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, Dify or LangChain) under your own accounts and their respective terms.

2. Accounts

You may sign in with Google or GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your identity provider account and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, and legally able to form a binding contract.

3. Memberships and payment

The Service offers a Free plan and paid subscriptions (Monthly Pro and Yearly Pro). Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider, and renew automatically until cancelled. Individual templates may also be licensed with a one-time payment; licensed templates stay available in your account even without an active subscription. Prices are shown at checkout. We may change prices prospectively with reasonable notice; changes never apply retroactively to a paid period.

4. Free plan quota

Free accounts may export up to five (5) skill files per day (UTC); pro-tier and individually licensed templates require a subscription or an individual license. Free exports include a light metadata attribution. Quotas and entitlements are enforced server-side.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to create or distribute skills that violate any law or third-party right.
• Do not attempt to bypass entitlement controls, quotas or paywalls, or scrape premium content.
• Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service itself, or represent it as your own product.
• Do not abuse, overload or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.

6. Licenses

Your content. Skills you create in the editor remain yours. By saving them to public features you grant us the limited right to host and display them as directed by you.

Our content. Public library skills are licensed under CC BY 4.0 unless marked otherwise. The Service's software, design and brand are our property and are not licensed to you except to use the Service as intended.

7. Third-party services

The Service links to and interoperates with third-party platforms and processors (OAuth providers, our payment provider, Cloudflare). Your use of those services is subject to their terms; we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that skills will produce accurate, safe or lawful outputs. You take full responsibility for how you use skill configurations and for the results obtained from them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal risk, with notice where practicable. You may delete your account at any time; sections that should survive termination (licenses, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
